was established in 2002 to provide services in the areas of Calibration, Precision Measurement, Testing & Product Certification, Inspection, Consultancy and Applied Research. The Company's Aim is to substantially support the state's effort in developing the activity of Metrology in Bahrain whereas at the same time to offer its clients high quality services and complete solutions to their problems.

QUALITY POLICY
Universal Laboratories policy in accordance with its Quality Manual is “To continuously improve and upgrade the organisation, its procedures and the professionalism of all the company's personnel so that the services provided are of high quality standard offered at the lowest possible cost”.
The Laboratory, which is supported by mobile units, is equipped with primary standards of high accuracy and operates in accordance with international specifications and within the parameters set out by the quality guidelines of ISO 17025 and ISO 9000. Furthermore the company’s trained personnel follow documented procedures that are recognised by international organisations, for all calibrations and testing activities. The company is committed in providing professional and quality services throughout all its operations.

TRACEABILITY OF MEASUREMENTS
The major requirement of ISO 17025 is the traceability of measurements, which is fully fulfilled by Universal Laboratories.
The traceability of the services offered by our Laboratories is assured by the chain of calibrations with standards of higher accuracy, the National and/or International Standards being the end-point along the calibration traceability trail.
